An elderly woman apparently misunderstood instructions while checking in at Sweden's main airport.
The woman went down a baggage chute after she placed herself instead of her luggage on the belt, reports the Upsala Nya Tidning local daily.
The 78-year-old woman was preparing to fly from Stockholm's Arlanda airport to Germany when she lay down on an unmanned baggage belt in the belief she was following express check-in instructions.
Staff members couldn't believe what they were seeing and ran down to the baggage handling centre where they helped get her back on her feet.
Fortunately, the woman suffered no serious injury and caught her flight as planned.
